Anonymous, 6th century. Half Siliqua (?) (Silver, 13 mm, 0.62 g, 12 h), Constantinopolis. Helmeted, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantinopolis to right. Rev. Large K. Bendall, Anonymous silver, RN 158 (2002), Type 8. Kent, Urbs Roma, pl. 13, 28. Vagi 3051. Beautifully toned and among the finest known examples. Two thin flan cracks and with minor deposits on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
